We share knowledge with policy makers, governments, companies and NGOs, to show the importance of marine nature restoration in general, and specifically of oyster bed restoration.
We undertake restoration projects, funded by different organisations such as WWF and Ark.
We stimulate that these projects are accompanied by at least basic monitoring, in order to enable ‘learning by doing’ and recovery of lost knowledge on flat oyster ecology and biology.
We invest in R&D, to develop the most cost-effective monitoring techniques.
We are undertaking marine surveys, with visual techniques and well as biotic analysis (larval counting and eDNA) in order to discover flat oyster communities still in existence.
